The Atelier

A studio of
one idea.

TAMORÉ began as a single drawing, taped to the wall of a small studio in late 2024. The drawing was of a skirt — undecorated, untrimmed, cut on the bias, falling exactly to the bone of the ankle.

Today, the studio produces six pieces a season. Each is hand-cut by Tamanna and finished entirely in-house. There is no menswear. There are no tops, no bottoms in plural, no accessories. There is the skirt. And the question, asked again each season: what does it look like when it is the only thing in the room.

"The skirt is the most honest garment. It cannot hide behind structure. It must move with the body, or it must not move at all."
